Question
How can digital systems provide a meaningful vacation experience for tourists in San Diego, California?

Insight
Travel like a local: When traveling, tourist goals are to gain new experiences and expand their perspective. Travelers are undermined by “tourist-trap” locations that take away from the authenticity aspect of their experience.

Demystifying public transportation: While public transportation can be a cost-effective and exciting way to travel, it is incredibly daunting for tourists to take buses or trolleys in a foreign location.

Safety without sacrificing fun: Tourists must stay guarded when unfamiliar with the local customs and potential dangers. The brand must build trust and feelings of safety so San Diego tourists can travel stress-free.

Response
Olley is a mobile application that connects tourists to San Diego City through the historic trolley system operated by the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System. This trolley system connects local communities and historic landmarks within San Diego, and this app allows tourists to create their own unique traveling experience in sunny San Diego by using the trolley system.
